Live-bird dispatches — farm → abattoir on a sealed, numbered document

Birds leave the farm only on an LBD document capped by the flock's living birds. The abattoir counts them back in; any gap needs a written reason and an independent resolver. One dispatch feeds exactly one slaughter batch.

Blind counts — count what you SEE, not what the screen says

The system never shows the counter its expected quantities. If the variance value is material, the adjustment waits for a different person to approve before anything posts.

Stock on hand — the balance right now

Straight from the ledger. Pick the department; type to find an item. Bar and Kitchen are split by which station an item belongs to.

Requisitions — ask, get an independent yes, then it becomes an order

A requisition carries no prices. A different person approves it, and only the conversion to a purchase order fixes supplier and agreed prices.

Recall cases — freeze first, investigate, disposition every lot

Opening a case freezes the named lots AND every lot made from them — frozen lots cannot be sold, picked or transferred. Each lot must be recovered, disposed or released before a different person closes the case with a written root cause.

Expired stock — the only door out is a recorded write-off

Expired lots are blocked from sale and FEFO picking automatically. What is listed here still holds stock and must be written off — the shrink report carries the lot code forever.

Bins & zones — everything findable

Bins are put-away homes inside a stockroom. The walk sheet lists stock in zone/bin order — the route a counter or picker actually walks.

Barcode aliases — one item, many codes

A product wears different codes as a unit, an inner and a case. Each alias carries the quantity it rings at the till — a case code adds six, not one.

Reservations — promised stock stays promised

Available to promise = on hand − active reservations. A transfer cannot walk off with reserved stock, and a confirmed wholesale order reserves its lines automatically.
